Composition of GANA Eye
- Acetyl tetrapeptide-5
- L-Carnitine
- Phosphate buffer solution
One of the main active ingredients in GANA Eye is Acetyl tetrapeptide-5 – a synthetically produced peptide that has impressive hydrating and skin-soothing properties. It is particularly effective at correcting puffiness under the eyes and restoring the firmness of the skin in that area. L-Carnitine (2%) is the other key ingredient in this revolutionary mesotherapy product. This valuable amino acid acts like a universal skin-booster, encouraging skin regeneration and collagen production.
Treatment and post-treatment
The injection procedure must be done with a thin 31G 4mm needle and 1cc syringe. The solution is injected in 5 to 7 injection points under each eye and the injection depth is the subcutaneous layer. Clinicians need to be careful to use a maximum of 0.4ml under every eye. The entire treatment is made up of 3 or 4 sessions – one per month.
Since GANA Eye targets the delicate and thin skin in the undereye area, the risk of post-treatment swelling is slightly greater compared to that posed by mesotherapy injections for the midface, for example. With most patients, swelling symptoms disappear after 2 weeks at the most. Medical practitioners can soothe such adverse reactions by prescribing a treatment course with anti-allergy drugs or Loratadine.
