Liporase Hyaluronidase can reverse the effects of Hyaluronic Acid fillers when they have been injected incorrectly, unevenly, excessively or when the patient wishes to quickly restore their natural appearance for one reason or another. This reversal agent is injected into the same areas that have been treated with a dermal filler so that it can cause hydrolysis of the HA gel. That will effectively break down the skin filler in a painless and fast manner.

What is Liporase?

Liporase is Hyaluronidase – a special enzyme that speeds up the breakdown or hydrolysis of HA-based fillers. It can be used in many different cases that include:

  • Dissolving unevenly distributed implant gels
  • Correcting overfilling
  • Emergencies (e.g. filler that has been injected in an artery)
  • Removing fillers that were placed incorrectly
  • Upon the patient’s request (to swiftly restore the pre-treatment appearance)

It has no adverse effects and it can be applied at any moment after the filler treatment. When injected under the skin, it starts to work immediately. Typically, one session is enough for the full degradation of the entire implant gel but a follow-up appointment is recommended for proper examination of the product’s effects. Liporase does not work on permanent or semi-permanent filler injections.

How is it better than other HA filler reversal agents?

Liporase Hyaluronidase targets only synthetically-manufactured Hyaluronic Acid. It will not dissolve and destroy HA that has been naturally produced by the body. This means that this product will not have a negative effect on the skin’s natural hydro balance, elasticity, and firmness. It will simply restore it back to its original condition – the one in which it was prior to the HA filler injection.

Mix with saline water before use.
